Friday, May 20, 2011
We have great news for all Jaguar enthusiasts!Jaguar Palm Beach, a leading Jaguar car dealer in West Palm Beach, Florida, is pleased to inform that Jaguar is making a new supercar to compete with the Porsche 918. The C-X75 hybrid supercar is being manufactured as a part of Jaguar's future car technology which will raise the brand's bar even further.
The new Jaguar supercar will have a 1.6-L highly boosted gasoline internal combustion engine. The painstakingly designed power plant has two powerful electric motors and is equipped with a four-wheel drive to bring on a sub-3-second 0-60-mph time and sub-6-second 0-100 mph time and a top speed of more than 200 mph. It will run on an electric motor up to 31 miles. More importantly, as per Jaguar's estimates, the new supercar will emit less than 99 grams of CO2 per kilometer. The fuel economy, combined, stands at 55.2 miles per gallon….impressive!
The C-X75 hybrid supercar is expected to be a high-profile, low-volume supercar with all modern aerodynamic and hybrid technological features which will be manufactured in the UK. The project is conceived as a part of Tata Motors' $1.7-billion-per-year, five-year investment in new technology and product. The first models of this supercar are anticipated to be rolled out in late 2013.
